Towa’s gender and other translation stuff

It looks like I’m going to have the same problem with Towa, Christella Revi’s kid (?). His (?) looks are awfully ambiguous, but Ronin referred to him as a girl in one of the earlier chapters, but Chigira didn’t seem to mind that much bathing together, so I’m going to assume that he’s male.

A mysterious “anchor” is referred to by Birdy in volumes 17 and 18, when fighting the oni. To this day, I have no idea what this is supposed to be. Japanese being this super contextual language, where everyone assumes you know what they’re talking about, I don’t know if this is something I missed or just some techno mumbo-jumbo that only appears once, like “pinhole engine”, or when Birdy talks about random history lessons from outer space.

There was a correction I wanted to bring to one of Shion’s chapters as well. The “Marker” is not a tracker, but those tentacle robots that assist investigators. Birdy had Tute, Kashew Gaze has Ryuzu, Capella Titus has Dugas, Kidel Forte and the Reekles have Atromos, Pishumess and Teliryut.
